Welcome to the City

Please be aware that our Saturday November 8th and 13th open gym/open house was CANCELLED, because many of our coaches had to work or are out of town.

Mission Statement

City Volleyball Club was created to bring the top players in the city of Mesa together so that they can play on one team. We feel the city of Mesa has some of the states best players, and if they play together, they can compete for a club championship. Our focus is to teach fundamentals so that our players grow, but we also want a competitive atmosphere so that the players push themselves to be the best. As time passes we hope to add all the top players from every high school in Mesa so that we truly represent the city. We feel very fortunate to have a great staff of coaches who work hard at training the players, and we know their commitment to the club will help make this a successful club experience for all involved this season.

Girls Club Information
Many people have been asking what CVC plans on offering for club volleyball this year, so here’s a quick checklist of ideas that CVC will offer for the 2014-2015 club season.

We will practice out of Poston Jr. High, Stapley Jr. High, and Mountain View High School. (Still waiting on confirmation from Stapley)

Our tentative practice dates are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-10. These times are for all four teams to be able to practice. Plus we will add an additional training day two Saturdays a month, to allow our athletes some specialty work. We will NOT train your daughters to play one position, they need to be able to pass, set, serve, and hit for their eventual seasons. Saturday trainings are to work those previously mentioned fundamental skills.

Girls Club Teams and Fees

For the first time in our young clubs history, it looks as though we will be offering a 12's and 13's team at CVC. We are very excited to coach a younger group and teach good strong fundamentals so that these ladies can grow their game and knowledge of volleyball. Fees for these teams include, new volleyballs, uniforms, extra practice days, region team fees, gym rental, and coaches GMS training. This does not include your AZ Region Membership fee or any traveling fees.

Our price for all teams 14 and under is $950 this year. There are fundraisers that we offer that can reduce those payments as well as some discounts we will discuss this Tuesday November 11th at  Mountain View, from 3-7pm. From 3-5pm we will be holding gym for our 14's and under groups, and 5-7pm for our 15's and up groups.

We will also be offering a 16's/17's team as well as an 18's team at CVC. We will be traveling with those teams to out of state tournaments, and expect to compete in the open division. They have the same fees, but because they will go to out of state tournaments, we need to pay those coaches some extra compensation.   Our price for all girls 15 and up is $1100. We feel these prices are very fair, and help make us one of the most affordable clubs in the valley. We look forward to seeing all those who are interested, and we will be handing out information with more detail on the 11th after the open gym.
